Good books/authors with Cabal's theme?

Postby jc0694 » Sat Jul 22, 2017 10:22 pm

Any good books/authors ( besides Lovecraft) that have the Cabal's setting and theme? Specifically, I'm looking for authors that write with a setting in the early 1900s (especially between WW1 and WW2) emphasizing the following:

Roaring 20's
WW2 (Nazi's)
New England (setting)
Archaeology / artifacts / talismans
Egypt / Egyptology
Detective / Film Noire

Pretty much the Cabals game but made into a book (a book series would be even better!) Would prefer modern authors (but not required) that have written novels with the above story elements taking place during the early parts of the 20th century. Thanks!

Horror stories: Edgar Allan Poe - who inspired H.P.L; also recently red cabals like steampunk series of books - hour of the wolf, day of the red plague (written by Andrius Tapinas); Comedy (very good, was laughing out loud reading this one) - Adventures of the great soldier Shveikas
Lets make Cabals great again! We must build a wall to protects all the newbies

You pretty much described any and every HP Lovecraft story there.
