Updated in v1.10: 1) Added a resource tile to the center, 2) added a single empty tile adjacent to both strongholds and, 3) changed the map name Crater to Leningrad to differentiate it from the Crater single player map.

I don't like this map for several reasons: 1. Uncontested resources - it is almost impossible to capture the opponents resource tiles because your unit would have to survive next to the enemy stronghold first. 2. Very little space - this map does not let you avoid combat as there is usually no place to retreat to. I prefer to have the option to draw back from an unfavorable battle. 3. Bog candle on the central tile is painful
I don't care for this map either, not only is it too claustrophobic but much of a game can be decided by luck. There isn't much of a chance to rearrange units or avoid combat until you can win battles. Without a way to redraw your starting hand a bad starting hand will lead to a loss.
